How we assess this
This is an eligibility/compatibility analysis based on occupation lists and salary thresholds — not a guarantee that a permit will be granted, and not a statement that this employer will sponsor.
Today's small businesses need a capital provider that keeps pace with their growth ambitions. Traditional financing options are slow, cumbersome and often out of reach. That's why we built Wayflyer.
Our technology allows us to assess businesses in minutes, generate financing offers that reflect their growth potential, and send funds in as little as 24 hours. To date, we've deployed over $6bn to thousands of businesses worldwide, backed by Tier 1 banks like J.P. Morgan.
You'll be collaborating with ambitious colleagues from around the world. We have offices in Dublin, London, New York, Charlotte, Berlin and Sydney.
The challenge
Wayflyer's growth depends on knowing exactly who we can fund and how much risk that carries. This role exists to dig into the data behind every customer, business and financial, and turn it into decisions that let us fund eCommerce growth responsibly.
What you'll actually do
What this role could turn into
This is a launchpad, not a lane. Past analysts in this seat have moved into Senior Credit Risk Analyst roles, crossed into Portfolio Management, and built careers in Commercial or Strategic Finance as Wayflyer's risk function has scaled.
Who thrives here
Someone insatiably curious about how businesses actually work, not just their numbers. You ask questions because you need the real answer, not because you're expected to. You think founder-first, you're comfortable presenting your own conclusions in a room, and you're ambitious enough to want to prove it fast.
We hire for range
You don't need years of experience, you need trajectory. A strong academic record in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Law or Computer Science (completed or near completion) is your starting point. From there, what matters is how quickly you pick things up: comfort with financial reporting, an instinct for data (Excel or SQL is a plus), and momentum toward a professional finance or accounting qualification if that's your path.
Based in our Dublin HQ. Hybrid, 3-4 days onsite to start, transitioning to a more flexible remote role over time.
The good stuff
25 days annual leave plus public holidays, private healthcare, life insurance and critical illness cover, a pension plan, generous parental leave, equity, and the option to work from abroad for up to 60 days a year.
