JobsMatch

Privacy policy

Effective date: 11 September 2026.

[Data controller details will be published here on incorporation of the Irish company.] JobsMatch stores data within the EU/EEA.

What we collect

  • Account data: email, password (stored as a hash), role, and for employers your company name.
  • Enquiry data: what you send us through the employer enquiry form.
  • Consent records: what you agreed to and when, so we can prove it.
  • Product analytics: pseudonymised usage events (no advertising trackers).
  • Email logs: which service emails we sent you and whether they were delivered.

Lawful bases

We process account data to provide the service (contract), send service emails (contract), send optional news only with your consent, and keep audit and security logs (legitimate interest in running a safe platform).

Your rights

You can export your data and delete your account from Settings at any time, without asking us. You can also contact us to exercise any GDPR right; we respond within one month. Where law requires us to keep specific records, we keep them in anonymised or restricted form and tell you so.

Retention

Accounts live until you delete them. Deleted accounts are anonymised immediately. Email logs are kept for 12 months, security and audit logs for as long as the law and platform safety require.

Processors

We use EU-hosted infrastructure providers for the database and hosting, and an email delivery provider for service emails. A full processor list is available on request.
